UKATE Launches Queen Rider Program in Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria.
UKATE, in collaboration with Simba TVS, proudly facilitated the launch of the Queen Rider Program in Ile-Ife, Osun State—a ground breaking initiative empowering women with practical skills to take control of their economic futures.
The Queen Rider Program, established by Simba TVS in 2017, provides women—especially those from underrepresented backgrounds—with comprehensive training in tricycle operation and maintenance. Beyond technical education, the program opens access to finance, mentorship, and business networks, enabling participants to launch and sustain their own transport ventures.
To date, the initiative has trained over 1,000 women across Nigeria, creating sustainable livelihoods and shifting gender norms in the mobility sector.
