
At the UK Africa Trade Expo, we are committed to delivering exceptional value and visibility to all
our sponsors and exhibitors. We understand that business needs may evolve, so we have created a
fair and transparent refund policy to ensure confidence in your investment.
General Policy Overview:
All sponsorship and exhibition package purchases are accompanied by a 7-day cooling-off period
(from the date of payment) for full refunds, no questions asked. After this period, the following policy
applies:
Refund Schedule:
- Full Refund (100%)
If cancellation is made within 30 days of payment and more than 90 days before the event (before
July 24, 2025).
An administration fee may apply. - Partial Refund (50%)
If cancellation is made between 60-89 days before the event (July 25 – August 24, 2025).
This helps cover reserved branding, planning, and marketing work. - No Refunds
If cancellation is made within 59 days of the event (after August 25, 2025).
By this stage, your brand has likely been integrated into promotional and logistical assets.
Refund Eligibility Conditions:
- Refunds must be requested in writing to Trade@ukate.co.uk
- All refunds will be processed within 14 working days of approval.
- Sponsorships or booths acquired via discounted or bundled deals may have a modified refund
structure, outlined in the agreement. - In the unlikely event the Expo is postponed, sponsors and exhibitors will be offered a full credit
transfer or refund option.
Added Value Guarantee:
If you’re unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, we offer:
Deferred participation to the next UKATE edition.
Brand presence is retained in marketing materials where applicable.
Digital promotion and webinar participation as a goodwill alternative.
